Job Overview
The Area Sales Manager will be instrumental in driving sales performance and expanding market share for Ubereness brands within their designated sales territory in Nigeria. This role requires a strategic thinker with proven sales leadership experience, a deep understanding of the Nigerian FMCG market, and the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with distributors and retailers.Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to achieve and exceed sales targets.
- Manage and grow a network of distributors and key accounts within the assigned area.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify opportunities and challenges.
- Provide leadership and motivation to the sales team, fostering a high-performance culture.
- Conduct regular market visits and provide on-the-ground support to the sales force.
- Ensure effective implementation of promotional activities and trade marketing initiatives.
- Manage budgets and control expenses effectively.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive sales management experience in the FMCG sector, preferably in food and beverages.
- Proven track record of successfully meeting and exceeding sales targets.
- Strong understanding of the Nigerian retail and distribution landscape.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to analyze sales data and develop actionable insights.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
