Job Overview
We're looking for a dedicated Application Security Engineer to protect our platform and users from evolving security threats. You'll play a critical role in embedding security practices throughout our development lifecycle, ensuring our applications meet industry standards and regulatory requirements.Key Responsibilities
- Conduct security code reviews and vulnerability assessments across applications
- Develop and implement application security policies and best practices
- Perform penetration testing and threat modeling exercises
- Collaborate with development teams to remediate identified vulnerabilities
- Monitor security incidents and coordinate incident response efforts
- Stay current with emerging security threats and technologies
- Provide security training and guidance to development teams
Requirements
- 5+ years of application security experience
- Strong knowledge of secure coding practices and OWASP principles
- Experience with security testing tools and vulnerability scanning
- Relevant certifications (CISSP, CSSLP, or CEH preferred)
