Job Overview
The Accounting Manager will oversee all financial operations of DMW Engineering Limited in Nigeria, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency. This role is critical in managing financial reporting, budgeting, and internal controls, supporting the company's strategic objectives.Key Responsibilities
- Manage and supervise day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and payroll.
- Prepare, review, and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
- Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.
- Lead the budgeting and forecasting process, working collaboratively with department heads.
- Manage cash flow, including forecasting and optimizing working capital.
- Oversee audits and ensure timely resolution of audit findings.
- Maintain strong relationships with banks, auditors, and other financial institutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certification (e.g., ACA, ACCA) is highly desirable.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial capacity.
