Job Overview
As an Accountant at Proforce Galaxies Limited, you will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. You will manage day-to-day accounting operations, prepare financial statements, and provide valuable insights to support management decision-making within our dynamic defence and security solutions organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage accounts payable and receivable processes
- Prepare and reconcile monthly financial statements
- Maintain general ledger and ensure proper account classifications
- Process payroll and manage employee tax compliance
- Conduct reconciliations for bank statements and subsidiary accounts
- Support audit activities and financial reporting requirements
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Professional accounting certification (ICAN/ACCA preferred)
- 3+ years relevant accounting experience
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel
- Strong knowledge of Nigerian tax regulations
- Excellent organizational and analytical skills
