Job Overview

- * Prepare and manage the hospital's budget, financial reports, and statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations and standards * Develop and implement financial strategies to optimize revenue, reduce costs, and improve profitability * Coordinate and supervise the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements * Conduct financial analysis and provide insightful recommendations to management on financial performance, trends, and areas for improvement * Manage and maintain the hospital's financial systems, including accounting software, spreadsheets, and other financial tools * Ensure compliance with financial regulations, laws, and standards, including tax laws, financial reporting requirements, and auditing standards * Develop and maintain relationships with external auditors, financial institutions, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth financial operations * Provide training and support to staff on financial matters, including budgeting, financial reporting, and accounting procedures
Requirements
- * Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field from a recognized institution * Professional certification in accounting, such as ACA, ACCA, or CPA, is an added advantage * At least 3 years of experience in accounting, finance, or a related field, preferably in a healthcare setting * Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and financial management practices * Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels * Proficiency in financial software, spreadsheets, and other financial tools, including accounting packages such as SAP or QuickBooks * Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and maintain confidentiality
