Job Overview

- * Collaborate with network engineers and peering managers to understand and analyze our global peering strategy and its implications. * Research and document emerging trends and best practices in Internet interconnection, including peering policies and traffic exchange points. * Assist in the evaluation and negotiation of peering agreements with other network operators and content providers. * Support the monitoring and optimization of our network peering performance and capacity utilization. * Contribute to the development of internal tools and methodologies for peering management and analysis. * Participate in industry forums and working groups, representing Top Employer's interests and gaining valuable insights. * Develop a comprehensive understanding of the Internet Society's mission and its role in promoting an open, global, and secure Internet. * Prepare presentations and reports summarizing findings and recommendations to senior management.
Requirements
- * Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Computer Science, Engineering, Telecommunications, Information Technology, or a related field. * Demonstrated interest in Internet infrastructure, networking, and related policy issues. * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret technical data. * Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly. * A proactive and self-motivated attitude, with a desire to learn and contribute to a dynamic team. * Familiarity with network protocols (e.g., BGP) is a plus. * Commitment to upholding the principles of an open and accessible Internet.
