Erisco Foods Limited, a leading indigenous manufacturer of high-quality food products in Nigeria, is seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Territorial Sales Manager to drive sales growth across designated regions. Since commencing operations in 2009 with the introduction of Nagiko tomato paste, Erisco Foods has expanded its portfolio to include Ric-Giko tomato paste and a range of other popular products such as Nagiko Sugar, Nagiko Mono sodium glutamate, and Nagiko Basmati Rice. Job Overview

The Territorial Sales Manager will be responsible for developing and executing effective sales strategies to achieve ambitious sales targets within their assigned territory. This role requires strong leadership, exceptional communication skills, and a deep understanding of the Nigerian food market.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive sales plans to achieve revenue and market share objectives.
  • Manage and motivate a team of sales representatives, providing guidance and support.
  • Identify and cultivate new business opportunities and build strong relationships with key distributors and retailers.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to adapt sales strategies accordingly.
  • Ensure effective product placement and visibility within the territory.
  • Prepare and present regular sales reports to senior management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Proven track record of success in sales management, preferably within the FMCG sector in Nigeria.
  • Excellent leadership, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in relevant sales software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • A valid driver’s license and willingness to travel extensively within the territory.
