The Graduate Medical Education (GME) Office at the University of Colorado Anschutz Campus is seeking a dedicated and organized Temporary GME Assistant to provide crucial administrative support. This role is vital for the smooth operation of our residency and fellowship programs, ensuring a positive experience for our trainees and faculty. This is a temporary position, limited to a maximum of 9 months.

Job Overview

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented individual to assist the GME team with a variety of administrative tasks. The ideal candidate will be adept at multitasking, possess strong communication skills, and be comfortable working in a dynamic academic medical environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with the onboarding and offboarding processes for residents and fellows.
  • Maintain and update resident and fellow records and databases.
  • Schedule meetings and coordinate logistics for GME events and committees.
  • Respond to inquiries from residents, fellows, program coordinators, and faculty.
  • Assist with data entry and preparation of reports.
  • Manage office supplies and general administrative duties.
  • Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; some college coursework preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Previous administrative experience is a plus.
