Job Description
The Graduate Medical Education (GME) Office at the University of Colorado Anschutz Campus is seeking a dedicated and organized Temporary GME Assistant to provide crucial administrative support. This role is vital for the smooth operation of our residency and fellowship programs, ensuring a positive experience for our trainees and faculty. This is a temporary position, limited to a maximum of 9 months.
Job Overview
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented individual to assist the GME team with a variety of administrative tasks. The ideal candidate will be adept at multitasking, possess strong communication skills, and be comfortable working in a dynamic academic medical environment.
Key Responsibilities
Assist with the onboarding and offboarding processes for residents and fellows.
Maintain and update resident and fellow records and databases.
Schedule meetings and coordinate logistics for GME events and committees.
Respond to inquiries from residents, fellows, program coordinators, and faculty.
Assist with data entry and preparation of reports.
Manage office supplies and general administrative duties.
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent; some college coursework preferred.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Previous administrative experience is a plus.
