The Danish Refugee Council (DRC) is seeking a dedicated Psychosocial Support / Case Management Officer for its operations in Madagali. Job Overview

The Psychosocial Support / Case Management Officer will be responsible for the implementation of psychosocial support (PSS) activities and effective case management for individuals and families affected by displacement and conflict in Madagali. This position requires a compassionate and skilled professional to provide direct support and referrals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct individual and group PSS sessions tailored to diverse needs.
  • Identify vulnerable individuals and families requiring case management services.
  • Develop and implement individualized case management plans.
  • Facilitate referrals to specialized services (health, legal, protection, etc.).
  • Maintain accurate and confidential case files and database.
  • Conduct community outreach to raise awareness of available services.
  • Provide training and capacity building to community volunteers.
  • Requirements

  • University degree in Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in PSS and case management, preferably in humanitarian settings.
  • Understanding of child protection and gender-based violence (GBV) principles.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and reporting skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Fluency in relevant local languages is an asset.
