We provide 24/7 accessible, solar-powered walk-in cold rooms to smallholder farmers, retailers, and wholesalers, significantly extending the shelf life of perishable goods and enhancing food security across the region.

Job Overview

The Solar Electrical Technician will be instrumental in the installation, commissioning, and ongoing maintenance of our state-of-the-art solar refrigeration systems. This role requires a hands-on approach, a strong understanding of electrical principles, and a commitment to ensuring the reliable operation of our cold rooms.

Key Responsibilities

• Install and commission solar PV systems and refrigeration units.
• Diagnose and repair electrical and refrigeration faults.
• Perform routine maintenance and preventative checks on all equipment.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company standards.
• Maintain accurate records of installations, maintenance, and repairs.
• Provide technical support and guidance to site operators.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an Electrical Technician, preferably with solar installations.
• Proficiency in electrical troubleshooting and repair.
• Knowledge of refrigeration systems is a strong advantage.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within Nigeria.
