Job Overview

The Senior PR Manager will be instrumental in developing and executing comprehensive public relations strategies to enhance Transsion Holdings’ brand reputation and market presence across Nigeria. This role requires a seasoned professional with a deep understanding of the Nigerian media landscape and a proven ability to manage corporate communications effectively.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategic PR plans aligned with business objectives.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key media outlets, influencers, and stakeholders.
  • Oversee the creation and distribution of press releases, media kits, and other PR materials.
  • Manage crisis communications and proactively address reputational risks.
  • Organize and execute media events, press conferences, and product launches.
  • Monitor media coverage and analyze PR campaign effectiveness.

    • Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in public relations, preferably within the consumer electronics or technology sector.
  • Demonstrated success in developing and executing impactful PR campaigns.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a strong command of English.
  • Extensive network of contacts within the Nigerian media and PR community.
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
