Job Overview
As a Senior Incident Response Consultant, you will be responsible for leading and executing complex incident response engagements for clients across various industries in Nigeria. You will act as a trusted advisor, providing expert analysis, strategic guidance, and hands-on support to clients facing significant cybersecurity incidents. This role requires a blend of advanced technical skills, strong communication abilities, and a deep understanding of the evolving threat landscape.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage end-to-end incident response engagements, including investigation, containment, eradication, and recovery.
Conduct in-depth forensic analysis of compromised systems and networks.
Develop and deliver comprehensive incident reports and strategic recommendations to clients.
Provide expert consultation on security best practices and risk mitigation strategies.
Stay abreast of emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and attack techniques relevant to the Nigerian market.
Mentor junior consultants and contribute to the development of internal incident response methodologies.
Requirements
Proven experience in a senior incident response or digital forensics role.
Deep understanding of incident response frameworks, methodologies, and best practices.
Expertise in network and host-based forensics, malware analysis, and memory analysis.
Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell) for automation.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
