Job Overview

As a Senior Android / Kotlin Engineer at Trust Wallet, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and maintaining advanced features for our Android application, with a specific focus on integrating and enhancing our Web3 trading capabilities. You will work collaboratively with product managers, designers, and other engineers to deliver high-quality, performant, and secure solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement new features for the Trust Wallet Android application, with an emphasis on Web3 and trading functionalities.
  • Optimize application performance, ensuring a seamless and responsive user experience for trading operations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented Kotlin code.
  • Troubleshoot and debug issues, ensuring the stability and reliability of the application.
  • Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and share knowledge.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of professional Android development experience using Kotlin.
  • Proven experience in building and shipping complex Android applications.
  • Strong understanding of the Web3 ecosystem, including blockchain technologies and smart contracts.
  • Experience with cryptocurrency trading platforms or related financial applications is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in Android SDK, Jetpack Compose, and modern Android development practices.
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs, architectural patterns (MVVM, MVI), and dependency injection.
