Job Overview

The Security Officer will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of Aniso Specialist Medical Centre premises, personnel, and assets. This includes implementing security protocols, patrolling the facility, and responding effectively to any security-related incidents.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular patrols of the hospital grounds and buildings to deter unauthorized access and ensure a secure environment.
  • Monitor surveillance systems and alarm activations, taking appropriate action as needed.
  • Control access points, verifying identification and authorizing entry for authorized individuals.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to all security alerts, emergencies, and incidents.
  • Assist in maintaining order and resolving disputes in a calm and effective manner.
  • Report any security breaches, suspicious activities, or safety hazards observed.
  • Enforce hospital policies and procedures related to security and safety.

    • Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Security Officer or in a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of security procedures and best practices.
  • Excellent observational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Physical fitness and ability to stand/walk for extended periods.
  • A clean criminal record.
