Job Overview

The Revenue Assurance Analyst will be instrumental in safeguarding and optimizing Ikeja Electric’s revenue streams. This role demands meticulous attention to detail, a strong understanding of financial processes, and the ability to identify and mitigate revenue leakage points within the electricity distribution value chain. The successful candidate will play a crucial part in ensuring the financial health and operational efficiency of the company.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct detailed analysis of billing, collection, and revenue data to identify discrepancies and anomalies.
  • Develop and implement robust revenue assurance processes and controls.
  • Investigate and resolve identified revenue leakage issues.
  • Collaborate with relevant departments (e.g., Billing, IT, Operations) to ensure data integrity and accuracy.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports on revenue assurance findings and recommendations.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to revenue assurance.
  • Contribute to the development and enhancement of revenue assurance systems and tools.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in revenue assurance, financial analysis, or audit.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL) and financial software.
  • Excellent understanding of financial controls and business processes.
  • High level of integrity and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
