Job Overview

The Professor of Law will play a pivotal role in developing and delivering a comprehensive law curriculum, engaging in impactful research, and contributing to the academic leadership of the Faculty of Law. Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct original legal research and publish scholarly work in reputable journals and academic outlets.
  • Supervise student research, dissertations, and theses.
  • Contribute to curriculum development and review processes.
  • Participate actively in departmental and university committees.
  • Mentor junior faculty and engage in academic outreach.
  • Requirements

  • Doctoral degree (Ph.D. or equivalent) in Law from a recognized institution.
  • Significant professorial experience and a distinguished record of academic publications.
  • Demonstrated ability to teach diverse legal subjects effectively.
  • Proven track record of securing research grants or funding.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Membership in relevant professional legal bodies is an advantage.
