Job Overview

The Production Manager (Laboratory) will oversee all day-to-day operations within the laboratory, ensuring adherence to strict quality control measures, optimal resource allocation, and timely delivery of diagnostic services. This position requires strong leadership, technical expertise in laboratory processes, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of animal health diagnostics.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise laboratory staff, providing guidance and professional development.
  • Manage inventory of reagents, consumables, and laboratory equipment.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor and optimize workflow for efficient sample processing and analysis.
  • Implement and maintain quality assurance and quality control procedures.
  • Troubleshoot equipment and technical issues as they arise.
  • Liaise with other departments to ensure seamless integration of laboratory services.

    • Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant scientific field (e.g., Microbiology, Biochemistry, Veterinary Science, Laboratory Technology).
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a laboratory setting, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
  • Proven understanding of laboratory best practices and quality management systems.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
