Five Teams Empowerment Initiative (5TEi) is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Procurement Intern to join our team in Nigeria. As a frontline national NGO, 5TEi is dedicated to humanitarian and development work, with a significant presence in the Northeastern states. This internship offers a valuable opportunity to gain practical experience in procurement processes within a dynamic and impactful organization.

Job Overview

The Procurement Intern will support the procurement department in various administrative and operational tasks, ensuring the efficient and effective acquisition of goods and services essential to 5TEi’s programs. This role provides exposure to procurement best practices within the non-profit sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in sourcing, obtaining quotations, and comparing prices from vendors.
  • Support the preparation of procurement documents, including purchase orders and requisitions.
  • Maintain procurement records and ensure their accuracy and completeness.
  • Liaise with internal departments and external suppliers as directed.
  • Provide administrative support to the procurement team.

    • Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s degree or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A proactive and willingness to learn.
