Job Overview

The Pharmacist will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and safe dispensing of pharmaceuticals, providing expert medication advice, and contributing to the overall pharmaceutical management within EHA Clinics. This position requires a strong understanding of pharmaceutical practices, patient care, and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently.
  • Provide patient counseling on medication usage, potential side effects, and drug interactions.
  • Maintain accurate and organized patient medication records.
  • Ensure proper storage, inventory management, and control of pharmaceutical stock.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient drug therapy.
  • Adhere to all relevant pharmacy laws, regulations, and ethical standards.
  • Participate in drug utilization reviews and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy from an accredited institution.
  • Valid license to practice as a Pharmacist in Nigeria.
  • Proven experience as a Pharmacist, preferably in a clinical setting.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in pharmaceutical inventory management systems.
  • Knowledge of Nigerian pharmaceutical regulations and guidelines.
