This role is crucial in supporting the GMD’s executive functions, ensuring seamless operations and efficient management of their demanding schedule.

Job Overview

The Personal Assistant will provide comprehensive administrative and personal support to the GMD, enabling them to focus on strategic leadership and business growth. This role requires exceptional discretion, efficiency, and a deep understanding of the demands of a senior executive in a dynamic, multi-sector infrastructure company.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the GMD’s complex and dynamic calendar, including scheduling appointments, meetings, and travel arrangements.
  • Screen and prioritize incoming communications, including emails, calls, and correspondence, acting as a gatekeeper.
  • Prepare reports, presentations, and other documents as required.
  • Coordinate logistics for meetings, including booking venues, arranging catering, and preparing agendas.
  • Handle confidential information with the utmost discretion.
  • Manage travel itineraries and accommodation for the GMD.
  • Liaise with internal departments and external stakeholders on behalf of the GMD.
  • Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Personal Assistant or Executive Assistant to senior management.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Discretion and a high level of professionalism.
  • Ability to multitask and adapt to changing priorities.
  • A degree in a relevant field is advantageous.
