Job Overview

The Junior Consultant will provide critical support in analyzing, developing, and implementing legal, policy, and regulatory frameworks to enhance governance and compliance for our clients and PIF Africa’s initiatives. This role demands a strong understanding of legal principles and a keen interest in regulatory affairs within the African context.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the research and analysis of relevant legal, policy, and regulatory landscapes across various African jurisdictions.
• Support the drafting and review of policy documents, legal agreements, and compliance guidelines.
• Contribute to client advisory engagements related to governance and regulatory compliance.
• Conduct due diligence and risk assessments in line with legal and regulatory requirements.
• Prepare reports, presentations, and other project documentation.
• Collaborate with senior consultants and cross-functional teams on project delivery.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Law, Public Policy, International Relations, or a related field.
• Demonstrated understanding of legal principles, policy development, and regulatory frameworks.
• Excellent research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team.
• Previous experience in a consulting or legal environment is an advantage.
