Future Concerns Nigeria Limited (FCNL), a leading provider of optimum support services to the Oil and Gas industry, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Process Designer (CAD) to join our dynamic team in Nigeria. This role is pivotal in ensuring the successful conceptualization and detailed execution of our process engineering projects.

Job Overview

We are looking for a seasoned Senior Process Designer with extensive CAD expertise to contribute to the design and development of process systems for our clients in the Oil and Gas sector. The successful candidate will be instrumental in translating project requirements into accurate and efficient process designs, ensuring compliance with industry standards and client specifications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and refine process flow diagrams (PFDs) and piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs) using advanced CAD software.
  • Create detailed equipment layouts, general arrangements, and 3D models for process facilities.
  • Conduct design reviews and collaborate with multi-disciplinary engineering teams to ensure integrated and optimized designs.
  • Prepare technical specifications for process equipment and materials.
  • Ensure designs adhere to safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
  • Mentor junior designers and contribute to knowledge sharing within the department.

    • Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in process design within the Oil and Gas industry.
  • Proficient in leading CAD software packages (e.g., AutoCAD P&ID, SmartPlant P&ID, CADWorx).
  • Strong understanding of process simulation software and hydraulic calculations.
  • Excellent knowledge of industry codes and standards (e.g., API, ASME).
  • Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team.
