Job Overview
The HydraCrane Operator will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of hydraulic cranes for various lifting and material handling tasks across AIG’s operational sites in Nigeria. This role requires precision, adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to work effectively within a team environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate hydraulic cranes safely and efficiently according to project specifications and safety regulations.
- Perform pre-operational checks and routine maintenance on crane equipment.
- Lift, move, and position materials and equipment with precision and care.
- Interpret load charts and rigging requirements for various lifting operations.
- Communicate effectively with ground crew and signaling personnel.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns immediately to supervisors.
Requirements
- Valid HydraCrane Operator certification.
- Proven experience operating hydraulic cranes in industrial or construction settings.
- Thorough understanding of crane operation, load dynamics, and safety procedures.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and load charts.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Physical ability to perform the duties of the role.
