Job Overview

The Hotel Cleaner will be responsible for ensuring all guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces at Hotel Capitol are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene, contributing directly to guest satisfaction and the hotel’s reputation.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning and sanitization of guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and cleaning bathrooms.
• Clean and maintain public areas such as lobbies, hallways, restaurants, and conference rooms.
• Replenish guest amenities and toiletries in rooms.
• Report any maintenance issues or damages observed to the relevant department.
• Handle and dispose of waste and refuse in accordance with hotel policies.
• Ensure proper usage and care of cleaning equipment and supplies.
• Adhere to all health, safety, and security regulations.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry is preferred.
• Strong understanding of cleaning techniques and products.
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good physical stamina and the ability to stand for extended periods.
• Reliability and a professional demeanor.
• Familiarity with Omole Phase 1 or surrounding areas is an advantage.
