Job Overview

The Health Care Assistant will be responsible for supporting the management, inventory, and distribution of medical equipment and consumables within Syntop Nigeria Limited. This position requires meticulous record-keeping, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the receiving, storing, and issuing of medical equipment and consumables.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular stocktakes.
  • Ensure proper handling, cleaning, and maintenance of medical equipment.
  • Support the procurement process by identifying stock needs and reporting discrepancies.
  • Adhere to all health and safety protocols and company policies.
  • Provide basic technical support and troubleshooting for medical equipment as needed.
  • Assist in the assembly and preparation of medical kits and supplies.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent; vocational training in healthcare support is a plus.
  • Previous experience in a healthcare setting or with medical supplies is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in basic computer skills, including inventory management software.
