Job Overview

The Front Desk Personnel will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our facility, serving as the first point of contact for patients, visitors, and clients. This position requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the front desk, handling patient inquiries, and providing exceptional customer service. As a key member of our team, the Front Desk Personnel will contribute to the overall success of our organization by delivering high-quality support and ensuring a positive experience for all who interact with our facility.

Key Responsibilities

* Greet patients, visitors, and clients in a professional and courteous manner, providing exceptional customer service and support
* Manage the front desk, handling patient inquiries, appointments, and other administrative tasks as required
* Answer and direct phone calls, respond to emails, and communicate effectively with patients, staff, and other stakeholders
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, including patient files, appointment schedules, and other relevant documents
* Coordinate with medical staff to ensure seamless communication and efficient patient flow
* Handle patient billing and payment inquiries, providing clear and accurate information on services and costs
* Maintain the confidentiality and security of patient information, adhering to our company’s strict confidentiality policies
* Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay updated on industry best practices and company procedures

Requirements

* High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in a related field an asset
* Minimum 2 years of experience in a front desk or customer service role, preferably in a healthcare setting
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other administrative software applications
* Strong attention to detail, with ability to maintain accurate and confidential records
* Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, providing support and assistance to colleagues as needed
