Job Overview

The Financial Intern at erpSoftapp will gain invaluable hands-on experience within a leading business consultancy firm specializing in Odoo ERP solutions. This role offers a unique opportunity to apply financial principles in a practical, client-facing environment, supporting our financial operations and contributing to strategic decision-making. You will work closely with our finance department, learning about financial reporting, analysis, and the financial aspects of ERP implementation projects. This internship is designed to foster professional growth and provide a comprehensive understanding of financial management in the technology consulting sector.

Key Responsibilities

* Assist in the preparation and analysis of financial reports, including P&L statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
* Support the budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring accuracy and adherence to financial plans.
* Process invoices, reconcile accounts, and manage financial transactions in compliance with company policies.
* Conduct financial research and analysis to identify cost-saving opportunities and optimize financial performance.
* Collaborate with the sales and project management teams to track project profitability and ensure timely invoicing.
* Assist in the development and maintenance of financial models and databases.
* Support internal and external audits by preparing necessary documentation and providing explanations.
* Gain exposure to the financial implications of Odoo ERP implementations for our clients.

Requirements

* Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field from a reputable institution.
* Strong understanding of fundamental accounting principles and financial concepts.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis, financial modeling, and reporting.
* Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
* Strong organizational abilities with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
* Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate financial information clearly.
* A proactive attitude and a genuine interest in the financial aspects of business and technology.
