Job Overview
The Executive Assistant will provide comprehensive administrative and logistical support to a high-level official, managing their schedule, correspondence, and travel arrangements. Key Responsibilities
Manage and coordinate the Principal’s complex calendar, including scheduling meetings, appointments, and travel.
Draft, review, and finalize correspondence, reports, and presentations with precision and accuracy.
Prepare meeting agendas, take minutes, and track action items.
Coordinate travel arrangements, including flights, accommodation, and visa applications, adhering to UN travel policies.
Serve as a liaison with internal and external stakeholders, maintaining diplomatic communication.
Manage and maintain confidential files and records.
Handle administrative tasks such as processing expenses and managing office supplies.
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent; a Bachelor’s degree is an asset.
Proven experience as an Executive Assistant, preferably within an international organization or government setting.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and collaborative tools.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; proficiency in other UN official languages is desirable.
Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask effectively.
Demonstrated discretion, tact, and sound judgment in handling sensitive information.
