Job Overview

The Electrical Engineer will be instrumental in the design, implementation, and oversight of electrical systems for Dumez Nigeria’s diverse range of projects. This role requires a proactive individual with a strong understanding of electrical principles and best practices in construction environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Designing and developing electrical systems for various construction projects, including power distribution, lighting, and control systems.
• Ensuring compliance with national and international electrical codes, standards, and safety regulations.
• Preparing technical drawings, specifications, and bill of quantities for electrical installations.
• Supervising and managing electrical installation works on-site, ensuring quality and adherence to project timelines.
• Troubleshooting and resolving electrical issues that arise during construction and commissioning phases.
• Collaborating with other engineering disciplines and project stakeholders to ensure integrated project delivery.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience as an Electrical Engineer in the construction industry.
• Proficiency in relevant electrical design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit MEP).
• Strong knowledge of electrical codes and standards.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
