Job Overview

The Consultant, Africa Programming will provide expert analysis, strategic guidance, and programmatic support for UN initiatives focused on Africa. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth research and analysis of socio-economic, political, and environmental trends in various African regions.

• Provide technical advisory services to UN entities and partners operating in Africa.
• Facilitate knowledge sharing and best practices dissemination related to African development.
• Support resource mobilization efforts and contribute to donor engagement strategies.
• Monitor and evaluate program performance, recommending adjustments to optimize impact.
• Draft reports, policy briefs, and other communication materials for diverse audiences.

Requirements

• Advanced degree in International Relations, Development Studies, Public Policy, or a related field.
• Demonstrated experience working on development or humanitarian programming in Africa.
