Job Overview

The Compliance Officer will be responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing Huawei’s compliance program within the United States. This position requires a proactive approach to identifying potential risks and ensuring robust mitigation strategies are in place. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive compliance policies and procedures aligned with U.S. federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
• Conduct regular risk assessments and internal audits to identify and address potential compliance gaps.
• Investigate alleged violations of compliance policies and recommend appropriate corrective actions.
• Provide training and guidance to employees on compliance matters, including data privacy, anti-corruption, and trade regulations.
• Monitor changes in relevant legislation and regulatory requirements and update compliance programs accordingly.
• Liaise with external legal counsel and regulatory bodies as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Proven experience in a compliance or legal role, preferably within the technology or telecommunications sector.
• In-depth knowledge of U.S. compliance frameworks, including but not limited to, FCPA, GDPR (as applicable to U.S. operations), and export control regulations.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
