Job Description
As a Social Media Manager & Content Creator, you’ll take ownership of our social media strategy and day-to-day content execution, helping shape Paired’s digital voice and community presence. This role is ideal for a creative, trend-aware professional who knows how to turn ideas into engaging short-form content that drives growth and connection.
You’ll lead content planning, creation, creator partnerships, and performance tracking across multiple platforms, playing a key role in expanding brand awareness and engagement.
Key Responsibilities
Content Strategy & Planning
- Develop and manage monthly content calendars for Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, and YouTube Shorts
- Plan content schedules at least two weeks in advance, aligned with campaigns, launches, and brand storytelling
- Maintain a Pinterest mood board as a shared creative inspiration space for internal and external creators
Content Creation & Publishing
- Create, edit, and publish high-quality short-form video content at scale
- Approx. 5 posts per week on Instagram
- Approx. 10 posts per week on TikTok
- Appear on camera when required to support brand storytelling
- Manage and integrate UGC, affiliate, and influencer content into organic and paid campaigns
Creator & Partnership Management
- Build and manage relationships with creators, affiliates, and partners across all brand channels
- Identify and onboard creators aligned with brand tone, audience, and objectives
- Coordinate deliverables, negotiate compensation, and oversee campaigns from outreach to final delivery
- Track usage rights, performance metrics, and partnership opportunities in collaboration with internal teams
Trend Research & Innovation
- Stay ahead of platform trends across TikTok and Instagram
- Monitor top creators, strategists, and official platform updates
- Use tools such as New Engen reports, Gumloop, and AI-based workflows to identify emerging trends
- Quickly adapt trending formats, sounds, and memes into on-brand content
Community Engagement
- Engage daily with followers through comments, DMs, and social listening
- Respond to customer, affiliate, and creator inquiries professionally and promptly
- Build an authentic community presence and generate social proof content
Analytics & Performance Reporting
- Track and analyze KPIs including engagement, growth, conversions, and reach
- Prepare weekly and monthly performance reports with clear optimization insights
- Collaborate with paid and organic teams to ensure consistency and alignment across channels
Requirements
- 1–3 years of experience in social media management for a DTC brand or as a content creator
- Strong portfolio showcasing independently shot and edited short-form video content
- Excellent copywriting and storytelling skills for social platforms
- Deep understanding of TikTok and Instagram algorithms and growth strategies
- Highly organized, proactive, and collaborative
- AI-first mindset with experience using tools such as Claude (with MCPs), MidJourney, Runway, Higgsfield, and Gumloop
- Comfortable appearing on camera when required
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience covering brand activations or live events
- Ability to manage and coordinate micro-creators
- Understanding of how paid and organic social strategies work together in DTC marketing
