Fully Funded Climate Leadership Opportunity in Brussels – CEPS Ideas Lab 2026 (Global South)

Job Description

The Centre for European Policy Studies (CEPS), in partnership with the Heinrich-Böll-Stiftung European Union | Global Dialogue, is inviting young climate leaders from the Global South to apply for participation in its flagship Ideas Lab event holding on 2–3 March 2026 in Brussels, Belgium.

This fully funded program is a unique opportunity for emerging sustainability advocates to
• Engage directly with EU policymakers
• Deepen their understanding of European and global climate governance
• Network with leading voices from across Europe and beyond
• Learn how one of Europe’s most influential policy events is strategically designed and organized

Eligibility Requirements
Applicants must
• Be between 20 and 35 years old
• Hold citizenship from one of the eligible Global South countries listed in the application form
• Have strong English communication skills
• Demonstrate a clear passion for climate action or climate policy advocacy
• Be available to travel to Brussels from 1–4 March 2026
• Not have participated in Ideas Lab previously

• Accommodation for the entire stay in Brussels

• Visa fees fully covered
Note- This is a fully funded program, but it does not provide financial remuneration (no salary or stipend).
