Senior Financial Accountant in a manufacturing company

Job Description

A well-established manufacturing company based in Apapa, is looking to hire a highly skilled and experienced Senior Financial Accountant to join its finance team.
The ideal candidate will lead financial reporting, compliance, budgeting, and internal control activities, while also providing strategic support to management.

Key Responsibilities
• Prepare accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Manage general ledger activities, account reconciliations, and financial documentation
• Lead budgeting and forecasting processes to support operational and strategic planning
• Ensure strict compliance with IFRS, tax regulations, and internal financial policies
• Coordinate and support internal and external audits
• Monitor cash flow, working capital, and other key financial indicators
• Continuously improve financial systems, processes, and reporting structures
• Provide in-depth financial analysis and insights to guide management decisions
• Supervise and mentor junior finance team members, promoting best practices and high standards

Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
• Minimum of 6 years relevant experience, preferably within a manufacturing environment
• Chartered Accountant (ICAN/ACCA) – mandatory
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, tax laws, and financial management principles
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office (especially Excel)
• Excellent analytical skills and strong attention to detail
• High level of integrity, professionalism, and accountability
• Strong communication and leadership abilities
