Job Overview

The Computer Science Teacher will be responsible for delivering engaging and comprehensive instruction in computer science to students across various age groups within Goldseal College & Schools. This role requires a deep understanding of computer science principles, effective pedagogical strategies, and the ability to inspire a passion for technology in young learners.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver engaging lesson plans aligned with the school’s curriculum and national educational standards.
• Instruct students on fundamental computer science concepts, programming languages, and computational thinking.
• Assess student progress through varied evaluation methods, providing constructive feedback.
• Foster a positive and interactive learning environment that encourages critical thinking and problem-solving.
• Integrate relevant educational technology tools and resources into teaching practices.
• Supervise student projects and guide them through practical application of computer science skills.
• Maintain accurate student records and communicate progress to parents/guardians as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• A recognized teaching qualification or relevant teaching experience.
• Proficiency in at least one common programming language (e.g., Python, Java, C++).
• Strong understanding of computer hardware, software, and networking concepts.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills.
