Job Overview
The Medical Supervisor will be instrumental in ensuring the effective and quality delivery of medical services within our programs in Maiduguri. This role requires strong leadership, clinical expertise, and a commitment to humanitarian principles, working remotely to oversee medical activities and staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the implementation of medical activities according to MdM protocols and international standards.
- Provide clinical guidance and mentorship to medical teams.
- Ensure accurate data collection, reporting, and analysis of medical indicators.
- Manage medical supplies and ensure proper stock management.
- Contribute to the development and adaptation of medical strategies and interventions.
- Identify and report any health-related challenges or violations of human rights.
Requirements
- Medical degree (e.g., MBBS, MD) or equivalent qualification.
- At least 3 years of progressive experience in a clinical and/or supervisory role, preferably in humanitarian settings.
- Demonstrated understanding of public health principles and primary healthcare.
- Experience in team management and capacity building.
- Proficiency in English; knowledge of local languages is an asset.
- Adaptability and ability to work independently in a remote setup.
