Job Overview

The Operations – Logistics Advisor II will play a critical role in optimizing and managing the logistical operations of ABNL Limited, ensuring efficient and cost-effective movement of personnel, equipment, and materials. This position requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of supply chain management within the Oil and Gas industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive logistics strategies aligned with company objectives.
  • Oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of all inbound and outbound logistics activities.
  • Manage relationships with third-party logistics providers, ensuring adherence to service level agreements.
  • Monitor inventory levels and optimize stock management to minimize holding costs.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant local and international transportation regulations.
  • Analyze logistics data to identify areas for improvement and cost reduction.
  • Lead and mentor junior logistics personnel.
  • Mitigate risks associated with logistics operations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a logistics advisory or management role, preferably within the Oil and Gas industry in Nigeria.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing complex logistics operations.
  • Strong understanding of international shipping, customs procedures, and freight forwarding.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Proficiency in logistics software and relevant IT systems.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
