Job Overview
The Operations – Logistics Advisor II will play a critical role in optimizing and managing the logistical operations of ABNL Limited, ensuring efficient and cost-effective movement of personnel, equipment, and materials. This position requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of supply chain management within the Oil and Gas industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive logistics strategies aligned with company objectives.
- Oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of all inbound and outbound logistics activities.
- Manage relationships with third-party logistics providers, ensuring adherence to service level agreements.
- Monitor inventory levels and optimize stock management to minimize holding costs.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant local and international transportation regulations.
- Analyze logistics data to identify areas for improvement and cost reduction.
- Lead and mentor junior logistics personnel.
- Mitigate risks associated with logistics operations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a logistics advisory or management role, preferably within the Oil and Gas industry in Nigeria.
- Proven track record of successfully managing complex logistics operations.
- Strong understanding of international shipping, customs procedures, and freight forwarding.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Proficiency in logistics software and relevant IT systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
