Job Overview

This position is instrumental in supporting Veeam’s mission within the Federal and DOD sectors. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining robust data protection and recovery solutions that meet stringent government compliance and security requirements. Working remotely from the DC/MD/VA area, you will collaborate with clients and internal teams to deliver exceptional technical expertise.

Key Responsibilities

  • Architect and deploy Veeam solutions tailored to Federal and DOD environments.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant government regulations and security standards (e.g., FedRAMP, DISA STIGs).
  • Provide advanced technical support and troubleshooting for complex customer issues.
  • Develop and deliver technical training and presentations to clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with sales and professional services teams to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry best practices in data protection and AI security.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in systems engineering, with a strong focus on Federal/DOD IT environments.
  • Proven expertise with Veeam Backup & Replication and related products.
  • In-depth knowledge of government security protocols and compliance frameworks.
  • Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V) and storage solutions.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance as required.
