Job Overview
The Security Administration Manager will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining robust security strategies and policies. This includes managing physical security, information security, and personnel security, as well as leading the security team to effectively mitigate risks and respond to incidents.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive security policies and procedures aligned with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
- Oversee the management of all physical security systems, including access control, CCTV surveillance, and alarm systems.
- Manage information security protocols, data protection, and cybersecurity initiatives to safeguard sensitive company data.
- Conduct regular risk assessments and vulnerability analyses to identify potential security threats.
- Lead, train, and develop the security team, ensuring high performance and adherence to standards.
- Investigate security incidents, prepare reports, and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant local and national security legislation.
- Manage security budgets and procurement of security-related equipment and services.
- Collaborate with other departments to integrate security measures into daily operations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Security Management, Criminology, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in security management, with a proven track record in a corporate environment.
- Strong understanding of physical security principles and information security frameworks.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in risk management and incident response.
- Relevant professional certifications (e.g., CPP, CISSP) are an advantage.
