Job Overview

The Maintenance Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of Proforce Limited’s maintenance operations. This includes the upkeep of facilities, equipment, and the entire fleet of armoured vehicles, ensuring optimal functionality, safety, and longevity. This role is crucial in maintaining the high standards of reliability that our clients expect from Proforce.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive maintenance strategies and schedules for all company assets, including vehicles and facilities.
  • Lead and manage a team of maintenance technicians, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluation.
  • Oversee preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and extend the lifespan of equipment.
  • Manage spare parts inventory, ensuring availability and cost-effectiveness.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex mechanical and electrical issues.
  • Develop and manage the maintenance budget effectively.
  • Liaise with external vendors and service providers as required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related field) or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience as a Maintenance Manager, preferably within the automotive, manufacturing, or defence sectors.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems, particularly in heavy-duty or specialized vehicles.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in maintenance management software and practices.
  • Ability to manage budgets and resources efficiently.
  • Familiarity with health and safety standards.
