Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Electrical Engineer to join our esteemed team in Nigeria. The Electrical Engineer will be instrumental in designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining electrical systems and components for our diverse petroleum and gas operations. This role demands a strong understanding of electrical engineering principles and their application within the challenging oil and gas environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and test electrical components, equipment, and systems.
- Oversee installation, operation, maintenance, and repair of electrical equipment.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues on-site.
- Prepare technical drawings, specifications, and documentation.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on project development.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience as an Electrical Engineer, preferably in the oil and gas industry.
- Proficiency in electrical design software and tools.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Registered Engineer with COREN is an added advantage.
