Job Overview

The Financial Accountant will be responsible for overseeing all financial operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and strategic financial planning. This role demands a proactive individual capable of driving financial efficiency and supporting Bauhaus Group’s rapid growth trajectory.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger management.
• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
• Develop and implement robust financial policies and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards and tax regulations in Nigeria.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
• Conduct financial analysis to support decision-making and strategic initiatives.
• Liaise with external auditors and tax authorities.

Requirements

• A Chartered Accountant (ICAN or ANAN) qualification is mandatory.
• Proven experience in financial accounting, preferably within the real estate or construction industry in Nigeria.
• In-depth knowledge of Nigerian financial regulations and tax laws.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
