Job Overview

We’re looking for a dedicated Application Security Engineer to protect our platform and users from evolving security threats. You’ll play a critical role in embedding security practices throughout our development lifecycle, ensuring our applications meet industry standards and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct security code reviews and vulnerability assessments across applications
• Develop and implement application security policies and best practices
• Perform penetration testing and threat modeling exercises
• Collaborate with development teams to remediate identified vulnerabilities
• Monitor security incidents and coordinate incident response efforts
• Stay current with emerging security threats and technologies
• Provide security training and guidance to development teams

Requirements

• 5+ years of application security experience
• Strong knowledge of secure coding practices and OWASP principles
• Experience with security testing tools and vulnerability scanning
• Relevant certifications (CISSP, CSSLP, or CEH preferred)
• Excellent communication and analytical skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
