Job Overview
The Technical Service Engineer (Cabin and IFE) will be responsible for the maintenance, troubleshooting, and upgrade of all cabin interior and In-Flight Entertainment systems across Air Peace’s Canadian fleet. This role requires a deep understanding of aircraft cabin systems, including seating, galleys, lavatories, and sophisticated IFE technologies, ensuring compliance with all aviation regulations and manufacturer specifications.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on cabin interior components and IFE systems.
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to cabin equipment and IFE hardware/software.
- Collaborate with manufacturers and vendors for technical support and system upgrades.
- Ensure all maintenance activities comply with EASA, Transport Canada, and Air Peace’s approved maintenance programs.
- Document all maintenance actions and ensure accuracy in the aircraft maintenance records.
- Participate in the evaluation and implementation of new cabin and IFE technologies.
- Conduct training for maintenance staff on cabin and IFE systems as needed.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer or technician with a specialization in cabin interiors and IFE systems.
- In-depth knowledge of various aircraft cabin components and IFE platforms.
- Familiarity with relevant aviation regulations (e.g., Transport Canada CARs, EASA Part 145).
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., AME license, type ratings) are highly desirable.
