Job Overview

The Lead Security Instructor will oversee the design, development, and delivery of security training curricula across WatchGuard Group’s portfolio. You will mentor junior instructors, ensure training quality and compliance, and stay current with evolving security threats and best practices. This leadership position requires both technical expertise and exceptional communication skills to engage diverse audiences effectively.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and update comprehensive security training programs and course materials
• Deliver engaging training sessions to personnel across all organizational levels
• Mentor and supervise junior security instructors
• Assess trainee performance and provide constructive feedback
• Maintain training records and generate performance reports
• Research and incorporate emerging security threats and solutions into curricula

Requirements

• Minimum 8 years of security industry experience
• Proven track record as a security trainer or instructor
• Relevant certifications (ASIS, CPP, or equivalent)
• Advanced knowledge of physical and personnel security protocols
• Excellent presentation and communication abilities
• Leadership experience with team management capability
