Job Overview
The Administrative Officer will be responsible for providing comprehensive administrative support across various college functions. This includes managing daily office operations, maintaining records, coordinating communication, and assisting with the implementation of college policies and procedures to foster a productive and supportive environment for students and staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily administrative operations and ensure efficient office management.
- Manage and maintain accurate student and staff records, including admissions and attendance data.
- Coordinate communication between college administration, faculty, students, and external stakeholders.
- Assist in the planning and execution of college events, meetings, and activities.
- Ensure compliance with college policies, regulations, and relevant governmental guidelines.
- Manage inventory of office supplies and equipment, ensuring adequate stock levels.
- Provide support for financial administration, including petty cash management and invoice processing.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Administration, Business Management, Education, or a related field.
- Proven experience in an administrative role, preferably within an educational institution.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Knowledge of office management principles and procedures.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
