Job Overview
The Dumper Operator will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating heavy-duty dumper trucks to transport materials within our facilities and to designated locations. This role is crucial for maintaining the smooth flow of supplies and waste management, ensuring our operations run without interruption.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate dumper trucks for the transportation of various materials, including feed, agricultural by-products, and waste.
- Conduct pre-operational checks on machinery to ensure safe and efficient working order.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies while operating the dumper truck.
- Transport materials to designated areas within Agrited facilities or to external sites as directed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment around the dumper truck.
- Report any mechanical issues or damages to the supervisor immediately.
- Assist with loading and unloading materials when required.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Dumper Operator or in a similar heavy machinery role.
- Valid driver’s license with appropriate endorsements for heavy vehicle operation.
- Knowledge of dumper truck operations and maintenance.
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Strong awareness of health and safety protocols.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physical stamina and ability to work in various weather conditions.
