Junior Accountant | Remote

Our mission is to eliminate barriers that prevent over 10 million Africans from easily and affordably sending money home. We’re seeking a detail-oriented Junior Accountant to support our rapidly growing finance team and help us scale our operations while maintaining financial integrity.

Job Overview

As a Junior Accountant at LemFi, you’ll play a crucial role in managing our financial records, reconciliations, and reporting processes. This remote position offers the opportunity to contribute to a mission-driven fintech company transforming remittance services for underserved communities.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform daily bank reconciliations and account maintenance
• Process invoices, expense reports, and financial transactions accurately
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures
• Prepare financial statements and reports for management review
• Support audit preparations and regulatory compliance activities
• Maintain accurate financial records and documentation

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Strong proficiency in accounting software and Excel
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Understanding of GAAP principles
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment
