We’re seeking a dedicated Platform Support Engineer to join our growing team in Mexico, working remotely. This role is critical in ensuring the seamless operation and exceptional performance of our platform for our valued clients.

Job Overview

As a Platform Support Engineer at Varicent, you will be an integral part of our technical operations, focusing on delivering top-tier support and maintaining the stability of our cutting-edge SPM platform. You will be instrumental in troubleshooting complex technical issues, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and contributing to the overall success of our clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive technical support to clients, addressing inquiries and resolving platform-related issues in a timely and effective manner.
  • Monitor platform performance, proactively identifying and resolving potential problems.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues across various system components, including application, database, and infrastructure layers.
  • Collaborate with development and quality assurance teams to report bugs and suggest platform improvements.
  • Document support processes, solutions, and knowledge base articles.
  • Participate in on-call rotations for critical support needs.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a technical support or system administration role, preferably with SaaS products.
  • Strong understanding of web application architectures and database concepts.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in at least one scripting language (e.g., Python, JavaScript).
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in Mexico and reside within Mexico.
