Job Overview
The Chief Operating Officer will oversee the day-to-day administrative and operational functions of the company. This role requires a strategic thinker with a proven track record in operational management, process improvement, and team leadership within the ICT sector. You will be responsible for translating strategy into executable plans and ensuring efficient resource allocation to achieve company goals.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement operational strategies aligned with the company’s overall vision.
Oversee all departments, including IT operations, service delivery, and customer support.
Drive process optimization and efficiency improvements across the organization.
Manage budgets and financial performance for operational areas.
Lead and mentor operational teams, fostering a culture of high performance and collaboration.
Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and industry standards.
Identify and mitigate operational risks.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
Minimum of 10 years of progressive leadership experience in operations, with at least 5 years in a senior management role.
Extensive experience within the ICT solutions industry, preferably in Nigeria or similar emerging markets.
Demonstrated success in strategic planning, execution, and change management.
Strong understanding of ICT technologies and service delivery models.
Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
